Roar, Chirp and Hop! Learn Animal Names in Arabic

Children naturally love animals — making them one of the easiest themes to introduce when building an Arabic vocabulary bank.

Our Animals Flashcards introduce children to familiar animals such as lion, dog, bird, giraffe, rooster, mouse, rabbit and bear, alongside their Arabic names.

The second set extends the vocabulary further with animals such as elephant, cat, chicken and fish.

Turn Vocabulary Learning Into Play

Instead of simply asking your child to memorise the words, try:

  • Make the animal sound and let your child identify the flashcard.

  • Show the picture and ask your child for the Arabic word.

  • Let your child sort animals into groups.

  • Play “Where is the ___?” around the room.

  • Repeat the Arabic vocabulary during story time.

When children associate a new Arabic word with a familiar image, learning becomes much more meaningful.
